Crone’s Wand MALACHITE

This particular piece of malachite has reminded me a perfect blunt instrument, like the wisdom of your local Crone. She’s the one who, in passing, knows just what to share to make you feel truly seen or moved. Malachite, like that crone, has a history.

Premium polished piece has a lovely hand feel, and wonderful thumb grove. Soft, living edge type quality and texture that makes it easy to interact with.

Malachite was utilized in many forms across ancient Greek and Egyptian civilizations, entire rooms in palaces in Russia were made of malachite (including the base of the World Cup trophy), and even the ancient Ishtar gate of Mesopotamia had lapis inlaid with malachite. Makeup and jewelry made of malachite was seen as a mark of beauty and power.

Malachite is a stone of emotional balance and stability, which keeps one in a state of positivity and, in many ways, immune to other's emotional baggage. It's one of the very few green Fire element stones, therefore it's a fortifying, take action in the world to create and manifest from our ideas and dreams. What I recently learned in “The Physics of Angels” by Matthew Fox and Rupert Sheldrake is that Angels have classically been associated with fire elements as they are on the light spectrum, beyond the UV and short light wavelengths we can see. Learning about fire and angels combined immediately gave me the energy of angels and crones.

Malachite is a stone that will help you become a leader and take confident action. It will help you establish more emotionally balanced, reciprocal boundaries and energy contracts, and to maintain/communicate/enforce those boundaries as needed.
