Blue Aragonite, aka Caribbean Calcite, helps alleviate feelings of suffering and enhances your emotional perception. It helps to stabilize the emotional body and it’s energy is harmonizing with reiki. I find this stone to be very helpful for those who have been on the receiving end of verbal abuse. It's wonderful for trusting and expressing your intuitive cues and emotions. It's cooling and calming to the emotional/mental bodies.

I highly recommend it for empaths, as well, as it can develop your discernment skills. I've read that it's quite helpful for the respiratory systems (as it's a water/wind element stone) and can help with asthma as well.
